Gauri Chibber (now Khan) was born in Delhi to Punjabi Hindu Brahmin parents Savita and Colonel Ramesh Chandra Chibber.
She completed her schooling at Loreto Convent School and graduated from Lady Shri Ram College with B.A.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Chibber fell in love in 1984. The two got married despite initial family opposition on 25th October, 1991.
She used to host a weekly Hindi music countdown show 'Oye' for MTV India in the 1990s.
She has 3 children: Aryan Khan (b. 12 November 1997), Suhana Khan (b. 22 May 2000), and AbRam Khan (b.27 May 2013 via surrogacy).
She has brought up their children with the right values of both Hinduism and Islam.
Gauri Khan first expressed interest in interior design as a hobby while doing up her Bandra bungalow, Mannat.
Gauri Khan owns her own furniture line by the name of 'The Charcoal Project'. She also has an interior designs store by the name of 'Design Cell'.
She became a producer with Red Chillies Entertainment in and the first movie she produced was 'Main Hoon Na'.
Film producer and interior designer, Gauri Khan has been touted as the 'power lady' of B-town. She has been the unshakable pillar behind the 'Badshah' of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.
